CRAFTCOM RULES & STANDARDS
CRAFTCOM GOES TO PAINSTAKING LENGTHS TO ENSURE THE BEST ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR ARTIST VENDORS. TO MAKE THIS A SMOOTH AND SAFE EVENT, THERE ARE RULES AND STANDARDS THAT THE ARTIST VENDORS AGREE TO UPON ACCEPTANCE.
STANDARDS AND RULES
All offerings and work displayed must be represented in application and consistent with submission. Any work that does not comply with standards of CRAFTCOM may not be exhibited. Failure to comply will mean immediate booth forfeiture without refund.
Booth exhibition must have an active participant and be present for all two days of event. If exhibitor or representative is not present on first day, space is forfeited for the remainder of event without refund.
Artist is strongly encouraged to be present at all times vs a representative. This is a unique with fairgoers who are interested in quality work. We hope you would want to be there for it and engage in your audience.
Absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed.
Music may not be played in tents. Be kind to your fellow artists and keep the shopping experience and noise level pleasant for all.
Power is limited and restricted unless specific arrangements have been made with CRAFTCOM producer. See FAQ’s. Any deviation from this will trip power to entire row of tents. Attempt of excessive power usage without proper arrangements will result in tent forfeiture.
Traffic flow and fairgoer safety is a high concern. Do not impede traffic by putting products outside your tent. You may be asked to contain your products to the inside of your tent if fire code is violated or traffic flow is inhibited.
Artists are expected to clean their tent completely at the end of event and leave nothing behind. Any deviance from this may result in a cleaning charge.
By applying, Participant/Artist understands that every effort will be made by CRAFTCOM to ensure the good experience of vendors but some things are out of CRAFTCOM's control—including, but not limited to weather, smoke and odors from food vendors and generators, City Services including, but not limited to sewer drains, etc, general fair noises of bands, generators and midway.
By applying, Participant/Artist agrees that CRAFTCOM, LLC and the City of Clawson will not be responsible or liable for injury, death, theft, loss or damage to property for any reason before, during or after art fair hours.
Harassment and un-neighborly conduct will not be tolerated at our community event. CRAFTCOM reserves the right to terminate your space without refund if you violate general practices of good conduct that prohibits the enjoyment, safety and commerce of other vendors and fairgoers.
Vendor booth fees will be accepted from artists 18 and over.
Artists are responsible for the collection, reporting and payment of all applicable taxes. 6% MI Sales Tax.
CRAFTCOM is not responsible for your personal property.
ARTIST AGREES UPON ACCEPTANCE THAT ANY VIOLATION OF THESE STANDARDS, RULES AND PRACTICES MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TENT/SPACE FORFEITURE WITHOUT REFUND.
